·        Pledge of Allegiance, song, invocation, breakfast…..

·        Introduction of Guests:  Kim Wood – York/Poquoson YMCA,  Bill Monroe from the Grafton Club

·        Birthdays – nobody admitted getting older

·        Anniversaries – nobody admitted it

·        50/50–pot: $  1261 with 14  cards left Jim Goldin picked  the 4 of clubs

·        Sick and Healing Members : Archie Moore,   Carl Ferrara

·        Happy Dollars –

·        Susan Goodnight is collecting DVDs and CDs for the Troops at her store “Goin’ Postal”.  There is a box out front of the store   

 

Cash register receipts from Farm Fresh and be turned in at the front desk.  We have turned in over $13000 so far.  This benefits the school system. We have till May 31 

Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg 50th Anniversary – Don & Mary Taylor attended as our representative and also since he was the only one with a tux!

April 26 – Donks Grand Old Opry - Tim Howard  coordinated a

bus trip to Carolina BBQ in Gloucester and then off to Donks for a show starring Troy Hedgepath.  30 members & family  attended!!!!!!

Today’s  Meeting - Rep Tom Gear (Graham Wilson) -  Tom gave his usual lively presentation on the happenings in Richmond. 

Tom Meree announced the new assessments for Poquoson were thrown out at council last night and last years will be the basis for our taxes.

We are starting our search for a new president.   Mike Condrey will be the next president, followed by Walt Burns,  you could be the next one…..let us know.

Briar Patch will be open this Sunday, May 4.

June 28 Swift Creek Dinner Theatre in Colonial Heights.  Bus trip for dinner and “Here Comes The Bride” … Ray Vernall is in charge

 

July 11 – 13 - West VA whitewater rafting trip -Depart noon Svihla Chiro Clinic,  Raft on the New River Saturday (breakfast buffet, lunch on the river, dinner buffet included).   Return home on Sunday.          $ 250 per person double occupancy includes transportation, hotel for 2 nights, meals on saturday. No changes after may 15.  so far we have 10 signed up on a limit of 16 people.   www.rivermen.com

Capitol District Governor, Art Riley will join us for his OFFICIAL VISIT to Division 23 on Sunday, March 30, 2008, PCM 4:00 PM Social 5:00 PM, Dinner & Meeting 5:45 PM, hrist The King Church, 4109 Big Bethel Road, Tabb, Virginia.

The ladies of the church will use this as a fundraiser for their Relay For Life Team.  

Remember Dick LaBarre undergoing surgery.
